Me and my dad went into the woods the first week of September. We went into the Umatilla National Forest near Walla Walla. I love going in there, there is so much wildlife. This was my third time going there. We were scouting for a good elk hunt spot. We didn't really see much wildlife on this trip, but we definitely heard some elk bugling down in a canyon. On the way out, we stopped the truck and picked some wild huckleberry's. They were really good. If deer had been in season, we would have gotten the one in the picture below.
