Olympia pics

The Legislature building in Olympia, WA
How big would you say that those little angels were? They are

3 feet tall.
The Capitol.
The huge chandelier next to a standing person. It is big enough in the center

 to fit a Smart Car.
Another pic of the Capitol.
Mount Adams

The House Chamber
A cool piano we saw there.

The Capitol
Sorry it's blurry. This is the seal of Washington. The bright lettering is 14-carat gold.

One of my car buddies, Eli Hall.
My friend, Evan Diaz

Here's the 6-ton chandelier that can fit a smart car inside.
My field trip group.

The House chamber
As of 1928, this was the worlds largest carpet.
Beautiful Tiffany lights.

Marcus Whitman statue
Me with Yakima in the background.
A memorial of all the Washingtonians that died in WW1.

The memorial again.
My favorite picture of the capital.
Mount Adams
Mount Rainier
There was barely any parking at the Capitol.
Beautiful pic of another politics building.
An old piano.
One of only seven flags in the world with only 42 stars. It's because Washington was the 42nd state and Idaho followed only one year later as the 43rd state, meaning that only a few flags were made with only 42 stars.

The seal of Washington. The seal is right under the 6-ton chandelier. Good thing it's blocked off.

The seal of Washington from the fourth floor.

Saint Francis' prayer right as you walk in to the Capitol.
Our tour guide, Stephen Crowell.
The sun-roof inside the House Chamber.

This is a map of cities that were in contention for becoming the state's capital! Notice Pasco is on there in the bottom right corner.
The Capitol.

The memorial again.
Washington's face.

George Washington seal again.
His face again.

Washington past symbols
Workers on the top of the Capitol, up near the dome.
