God's funny.
If you need proof, flip through the Bible. Numbers 22:28 shows us Balaam getting reprimanded by his ass (get your mind out of the gutter). If you want to know what happens when you call a prophet 'baldhead,' head to 2 Kings 2:23. The punishment for falling asleep during a homily? Death, as shown in Acts 20:9.
See? God's funny. I appreciate that about Him, but I think a lot of people don't even realize how cool God is. He's not just a big mean judge in the spacious clouds. He's so humble that he condensed his entire omnipotent, brilliant being into a piece of bread for us to consume. How beautiful!
He created the world so intricately that we don't burn or freeze because the sun is at a perfect distance from us. And after all we've done to hurt his precious Heart, I can see why he needs a good laugh once in a while.
I know God loves theology and everything, but just flipping through the Bible tells me that he loves to laugh more. I mean, even look in the mirror and study yourself. We as humans are naturally funny. Some of us have just abandoned that part of ourselves and traded it out for depression and sadness.
I encourage anyone reading this right now to embrace the part of yourself that makes God laugh.
